Ne kadar kızsam, sinir olsam da iyi yanı ağır basmıyor mu yüreğimin... susuyorum karşılarında. Haykırmak istiyorum halbuki ne kadar insanlık dışı olduklarını varlıklarının. Benim canımın yandığı kadar yansın yürekleri, lal olsun dilleri, kör olsun gözleri...
Öfkem toplaşsın ufak gri bir bulutta... yol alsın onlar nereye giderse bıraksın göz yaşlarımı bastıkları toprağa. Her adımları ıslak olsun, önlerindeki diyarlar çöl, arkalarındaki topraklar yemyeşil olsun. Olsun ki sana bana yaşattıklarını bir daha kimseye yaşatamasınlar. Çocuklarımızın hayatını karartamasınlar.
Kendi alevlerinde ebediyete kadar yanıp yanıp kül olamasınlar...

Bye bye San Diego. Thank you for the wonderful days. It has been amazing both scientifically and socially (more scientific sociality).

Science Science and more Science
It has been a great week and it will be another great week with a one big drawback: IT IS RAINING! You here the sound of rain in San Diego Convention Center as well :) I know it is disappointing after the first day which was a beautiful sunny day in here.
Well science part is getting more and more exciting and frustrating at the same time. Science is the biggest Drama Series of all time. But until you try to publish your work it is fun. You get to here all these nice and exciting ideas, listen presentations, look at the posters, make contacts, ... You can even be an artist and submit an artistic scientific image to the Image Contest of Biophysical Society Annual Meeting. Too bad I thought it was only for experimental images, but they had some computational models as well. Maybe I read the descriptions wrong. As I was pretty robust with abstract submission and submit the poster to the general category instead of specific ligand gated ion channel category.
There is a reception this evening and a national lecture. Yesterdays poster session was amazing, also presentations since they were more close to the field I am working in.
Geez this is not rain this a storm! (ok ok I am exaggerating it, but it is raining a lot believe me!) Don't see any chance of me going to the hotel without getting wet. Such a bad luck we have as the attendees of 2012 Biophysical Society Annual Meeting.
